Influences
The DejaBlue Grass Band is fueled by artists as Mr. Bill Monroe, The Beatles, Jim and Jesse, The Grateful Dead, Dr. Ralph Stanley, Doc Watson, and Jerry Garcia just to name a few. Put 'em all together and you get the unique driving sound of the DejaBlue Grass Band.
We dare ya to stand still!!
From Athens to Atlanta, Toccoa to Telluride, The DejaBlue Grass Band's coiled-steel harmonies tap and twist around a 5-piece bluegrass instrument ensemble guaranteed to have you and your guests dancing from sole to crown. Cloaked in a classic single mic setup, The DjBGB serves up a fresh song selection of truegrass, piled high with pop and newgrass, lightly salted with some soul-shaking gospel.
The DejaBlue Grass Band proves performance after performance that a good time on stage translates to a good time for all.
Thanks for dropping by our site...stay a while and enjoy a little sampling of what we do...
Amazing CD! I can't stop listening to it, even put it on my iPod! You guys are on FIRE with the bluegrass music! Man alive! Thanks for the CD, so very cool! Flawless!
I can't say enough about last night. It was a record crowd and you helped me to completely shatter the record for donations to keep the music series going. I don't know how your music could possibly get better but it continues to do so. Thanks for your amazing sytle of music and for being my friends too!
I am a little late getting here but wanted to tell you what an awesome job you all did at Red Top this last visit. Looking forward to having you there again in a few weeks!
it's the violinist again...this time i gotta give a big "you're welcome" for whatever you were thanking me for on your cd!!! thanks for the honorable mention. -bruce
Rut, Joey, Buckethead, Todd and Keith: you guys rocked the Trolley Barn on Saturday night! We really enjoyed it - was great working with you guys - let's do it again soon. Take care - see you on the 22nd!
Hey Dejablue, Thanks for puttin' one of my pics in your photo space. I'll always keep a fiddle with me when I get near one of your gigs. See you at the CD release. Can't wait. - Bruce
I am just home from work and having you all play at the park. I am wet and tired but all I can say is WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW!!!! I knew you guys were good but I can honestly say that you way exceeded my expectations. I think tonight was probably THE BEST Bluegrass performance I have ever seen or heard and best of all, those in attendance all agreed. I get compliments on a lot of the bands but everyone there was raving over Deja Blue. I just wish we had not had the rain so that more folks could have come out to hear and see you. You can bet I will be in touch VERY soon to invite you back. I will also be anxiously awaiting a cd. Thank you so much for being great to work with and doing such a fantastic job. I'm your new number one fan. :-)
I can not wait for you all to come to Red Top Mountain. Hope you will like it enough to come back year after year. I know the crowd will be blown away by your music.
