Theres that unmistakeable buzz in the air. You know the one. Something hot is about to happen. You could be anywhere, Fitzroy, Byron, Bondi the feeling is always the same. Six musicians with fire in their bellies take the stage, hundreds of hip-shakers shuffle forward ready to party. You hold your breath, not taking another for fear of missing that precious first note. An explosion of sound fills the room and from the first downbeat the crowd begins to pump. Raw energy pours off the stage as the mob begin to jump and gyrate. Sweat is flying (onstage and off), and the frenzied party comes to a climax. A trend-setter up the front is screaming her head off and the guy next to her is about to make his move. The band rock out one last finale tune then stagger backstage as the bouncers move the party somewhere up the street....... You wake up the next morning, a smile on your face and the words renegade reggae scratched into your arm. Sharp flash-backs of brass explosion and fiece drumbeats ambush your fragile state, and the words of a song called 'Lazy Sunday' repeat over in your head. But, the question still remains,
Hey, me and some friends are organising a concert thing for a school project. The proceeds will go to the Children's Cancer Institute Australia, and we need a band to play and i was wondering if you would be interested. If you are please message me back and i will try and get a date and other detains. Thanks, Emily Hennessy
Sounds good. I know I start training for my teaching position on the 6th and it will be ongoing for a few more months but hopefully we can work something out. the extra coin i make from taking those paid surveys online helps out alot tho; you should really do them too; i mean, hey, the extra money comes in handy, right? i guess you'll have to type the link into internet explorer or whatever, but here it is: www. surveyblingbling .com I prolly won't have anything going on that weekend so if nothing else, maybe I can get back to town for a few days then. If I can work it out, you'll have to meet 'em too. Talk to ya later buddy. Keep me updated!
