Dateline June, 2008: Three guys, a fully-stocked beer fridge and weekly jam sessions is how it all began. Next, a July trip to Nashville and a short set on stage at the Gibson Custom Guitar Shop's Summer Jam ignited the fire. Then came an invite to replace a DJ at a Kettering area party in August.... yadda, yadda.... power trio, Deja Mojo was born. Six weeks of rehearsal boot camp followed and the guys soon found themselves performing before a capacity crowd at the Tattoo Tech Art & Bike Expo, held at Dayton's Hara Arena in early September. Subsequent opportunities to play in Fairborn's town square as part of the U.S. Air Force Marathon festivities in September, and Foy's Halloween Gala in October followed and next thing the band knew, the iMOJOnation Tour was under way.
Deja Mojo delivers an eclectic mix of Classic & Blues Rock that features creative arrangements, unique style and a stage perfomance that blends the perfect combination of exuberance and fun. At a Mojo show, you can expect to hear some of your favorite songs by acts such as Cheap Trick, Foreigner, ZZ Top, Bryan Adams, Jimi Hendrix, The Guess Who, The Doobie Brothers, Def Leppard, The Beatles, Stealer's Wheel, Neil Young.... the list goes on.
