Kids, cooking, reading, gardening, traveling, and music.
Music
I like most music, and especially love bossanova, classic vocal jazz, classical music especially circa 1850-1920, 70's r&b/pop, 60's rock.
...and of course heaps of vocal music and a cappella: pretty much anything you come across at www.casa.org and www.a-cappella.com
Movies
Really great movies, and really bad movies. Alas, almost everything falls somewhere between.
Television
I love me some PBS (Nova, Frontline), comedy (e.g. Python, the original British Office, Arrested Development), and cooking shows (Good Eats, America's Test Kitchen, Martin Yan's Chinatowns, and this random Singapore cooking show I pick up on an Asian channel that rocks my world. Sambal, baby!)
Books
Mucho non-fiction, especially current events, gardening, essays, science, travel, cooking and cook books, and classic literature. Yeah, ok, so kinda everything. I guess I'm a book ho.
Heroes
I'm not much of a hero worship kinda guy. I will say that if Gandhi could fly and shoot lazers out of his eyes he'd be the one. If he got a different costume.
Then again, reading about Yunus, gotta say, he's my new hero. Lazers or no.

About me:
If you've got nothing better to do, you can read about me at:
www.totalvocal.com or www.housejacks.com or wikipedia or in the book "Pitch Perfect."
Who I'd like to meet: King Kamehameha I. Not because I care so much about him, honestly, but because I want to visit Hawaii circa 1800. If I have to meet him on a press junket in a Ramada conference room, no deal.
Also would love to meet my great great grandkids. But not if it's a head-in-a-vat situation.

Hey man that's cool. I'm not 100% sure I can go this year. I'm in a band and we're looking to get signed. I think we're heading into the studio in about a month, so nice hearing from you man. Stay cool ;)
