Delalooz est un trio expérimental sax, basse/samples et batterie.Mélange nerveux de funk, de rock et de nu-jazz,
le groupe s'inspire des recherches "fusion" d'artistes tels que Julien Loureau, Erik Truffaz, Morphine ou Steve
Coleman.
Fin 2008, le groupe sort son premier album « LONDON ». Mixé à Londres, l'album offre une vision sombre et
électrique de la ville.
Collage frénétique de samples de rues, de dialogues scandés et de riffs hallucinés, Delalooz nous plonge dans des
univers urbains et brumeux chers à David Lynch ou à Alan Moore.
En live, ces trois musiciens font vivre ces morceaux , jouant des samples et des ambiances sonores comme de leurs
instruments, chaque concert se transformant en un road trip urbain, cinématographique et haletant.
Delalooz are an experimental trio band home based in St Brieuc, Brittany. They consist of sax, bass/samples and
drums. Their music is a combination of funk, nu-jazz and rock elements which gives the group a unique and
distinctive sound. They draw their inspirations from artists such as Eric Truffaz, Julien Loureau, Steve Coleman
and the US band Morphine.
The band's debut album titled LONDON was released at the end of 2008. Also mixed in the city, the music reflects
the vibrant but also gloomy life of London.
With their amazing riffs, samples of London street voices and the sounds of the city as background, Delalooz
sends us into the mysterious world of David lynch or even Alan Moore.
When playing live, the three members of Delalooz recapture the essence of the sounds and the music from their
debut album. Thus, the concert becomes a breathtaking and cinematographic urban road trip.
