Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania music was ever present throughout their lives. Both girls were very active in the school orchestra, talent shows, local plays, and church choir. Yet after High School, despite their talents, both Duchess Saudia and Duchess India D. went on to pursue their individual achievements. And though life threw several devastating downfalls for both girls throughout this time, Duchess Saudia went on to earn her Masters Degree in Broadcasting at the University of Central Texas. From there she pursued acting, starring in shows such as “E.R.”, “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”, and “Angel”. And also appeared in films such as “How’s My Driving”, “One of Them”, and “The Chumbscrubber’.
Duchess India on the other hand went on to publish several short stories and poems such as
My Mother, My Friend, Down Stream, and Truth winning her the Editor’s Choice Award and honorable recognition in the Writer’s Digest and Local hometown newspaper.
It wasn’t until 2005 when the girls decided to join their voices, combining not only their love for music but the love for their culture as well. Properly calling themselves “De L’Ange” meaning “Of the Angel” The craze struck on quick within their hometown, giving them a surprising popularity.
By 2006 both Duchess Saudia and Duchess India D. were ready to expand, starting up their own companies. Duchess Saudia formed “De L’Ange Entertainment”, an artistic enterprise creating a new era in entertainment. Soon after Duchess India D. started up “It’s DragonPhly!” combining her love for fashion, music, art, and food. Not only did they prove they were talented musicians but groundbreaking entrepreneurs as well.
In 2007, after gaining an ever growing supportive fan base throughout Pittsburgh, De L’Ange decided to spread their wings and relocate to Los Angeles, California.
Now, De L’Ange is performing at LA hot spots building National as well as International fans. Causing them to all fall crazy over their hits such as “Super Powered Ambulance”, their heart warming ballad “Cherish (Mon Amour)” and “Vivant le Rêve” which is not only the title of their debut album but a true testament of their success.
What make this group stand out above the others is their versatility, innovation, and the ability to appeal to all ages, races, and genres.
What makes them special is their strength to survive through almost anything and help others to do the same.
So whether it’s on or off stage De L’Ange is a force to be reckoned with.

Saudia Lorell et l'Inde D. sont les deux protagonistes de la sensation internationale De L’Ange. Avec un style unique fait de raisonnance européenne, cran et élégance, leur son se distingue par une originalite certaine : une combinaison de R&B/ Hip Hop, rythmes spontanes et paroles françaises passionnées, influencées par leur héritage culturel. Originaires de Pittsburgh, en Pennsylvanie, les deux filles étaient tres actives dans les orchestres et spectacles scolaires, les pieces de theatre amateurs et les chorales d’église. Apres leurs annees colleges, et en dépit de leur talent, Saudia et l'Inde D. ont chacune poursuivi une voie academique individuelle.
Malgre les coups dus, chacune a su se distinguer dans la vie active. Saudia fut diplomee d’un Master’s degree en Production à l'Université de Texas Central, avant de se lancer dans une carriere d’actrice, apparaissant dans des programmes aussi fameux que Urgences, Buffy Contre les vampires et Angel, ainsi que les longs metrages “How’s My Driving”, “One of Them”, et “The Chumbscrubber’. India D. se consacra quant a elle a l’edition, publiant divers contes et poèmes tels que Ma Mère, Mon Ami, et En bas le Ruisseau et la Vérité, qui lui valut le Prix de la Redaction et une reconnaissance dans le “Writer’s Digest” et la presse locale de Pittsburgh.
Ce ne fut qu’en 2005 que les filles deciderent de rejoindre leur voix, combinant non seulement leur amour pour la musique mais aussi l'amour pour leur culture toute entiere. Baptisees sous le nom “De L’Ange”, l'engouement frappa d’aussitot dans leur ville natale. Sur la vague du succes, chacune se tenta a des projets entrepreneuriaux. Saudia forma “De L’Ange Entertainment”, une entreprise artistique pionniere dans l’industrie du divertissement, tandis qu'India D. creait “c'est DragonPhly!” en combinant son amour pour la mode, la musique, l'art et la cuisine. Deux musiciennes de talents faisaient leur preuve dans le monde des affaires. En 2007, De L’Ange se decida finalement a étendre ses ailes dans la musique et emmenagea à Los Angeles, en Californie.
Aujourd’hui, De L'Ange se produit dans les clubs branches de LA et seduit des fans du monde entier, tous amoureux de leurs airs comme "Super Powered Ambulance" "Cherish (Mon Amour) et "Vivant le Rêve”, qui est non seulement le titre de leur premier album, mais aussi l'hymne de leur reussite actuelle. Ce qui rend ce groupe si special est son dynamisme, son innovation et sa capacité de s'inspirer de tous les genres musicaux, ethniques et generationnels. Son atout : une force profonde a perseverer et a pousser les autres a avancer. A la scene comme a la vie, De L’Ange n'a pas finie de faire parler.
