Delayed Sleep is a psychedelic rock band from Sacramento California. Our hypnotic recordings have been played on several public radio stations such as KDVS 90.3 (UC Davis, California) and others throughout the country. To describe our sound listeners have described us as everything from psychedelic, to progressive to avante-garde to noise. Our personal musical interests include jazz, avante-garde, hip-hop, r&b, prog-rock, krautrock, 60's and 70's psychedelic music, experimental, garage and jam-bands, noise, and too many more to list.
We have played throughout the Sacramento area and beyond with artists such as (in no particular order) SubArachnoid Space, Deerhoof, Orthrealm, Cock ESP, Instagon, Uberkunst, Surefire, My Merry Malady, Duntch, Throckmorton, Hot Pistol, Predator, Crisis Unit, Yours in Murder, The Burn Victims, The Veronicas, Burke, The Gynas, T.G.W.D.T.F.C., Prissy's Prism, The Eyesores, Blue Star Creeper, Critical Theater, The Paisley Project, and many, many more.
