Due to growing time constraints and a personal need to finish my current project, it is unlikely that I'll be able to accept new work requests for the time being. But if something's on your mind, do get in touch.

haha well "are you looking for me" is a pretty rough listen but towards the end has some great little beat battles. Basically chad and I have this band called Paint Robots that is completely improvisation, and we just put ourselves in different situations with different instruments and see how we interact with what's going on. We recorded one album utilizing the SMHS auditorium and it sounds fantastic, we had drum sets in the seats and brought out the grand piano and set up mics all OVER the place. then we recorded another in my studio at school with a bunch of people in there watching, that's what most of the stuff on the myspace is from. But with the beat stuff we really just set up in my living room floor and put our amps in various parts of the house and we just kind of made drum machine noise and jammed. It was really cool but every song is like 9 minutes long haha so it's kind of difficult to get into, but I was very pleased with the Aphex Twin-ish beat battle at the end. I'm glad you like it man and yes we should definetly talk sometime, but most definetly we should jam, I think chad would be really interested in what you're doing to. We were actually going to produce some friends of ours as a hip hop act, but we haven't really had the time... But yeah anyways let's for sure keep in touch and any time you make something new or have anything going on be sure and let me know.

that's a great mentality to have man, I know what you mean. Luckily my classes haven't been too paper heavy so I have some time to muck around. I actually have an art studio that I keep all of my gear in haha. That's awesome that you actually have clients! haha. I'm excited to see where this goes I mean you seem to be doing really well already. Your songs are really promising so just keep at it! You should check out my other myspace www. myspace. com/paintrobots there's a song on there called "are you looking for me" that is off of a record I did with chad where we kind of did an improvisational dueling noise dj type thing. Ah I'm listening to that Thugz Mansion remix right now the samples on that are giving me goosebumps damn! It makes so much more sense with the words than the origional to me.

hey!
aw man thanks. nah I LOVE the wall it's one of my favorite things ever. yeah well it's like the beginning of a series of changes that have been occurring this year I guess. I'd give your stuff a listen but my room mate is sleeping right now and I don't have headphones but for sure tomorrow. Yeah I've just been working my ass off I have a show in two weeks for school and it's driving me nuts how are you?
ha ha thanks, destruct! I bet a lot of MCs suffer through questions like that from all of their non-hip hop friends.. it's a tough life, lol!

nerd.
well if you've got quarter inch jacks i'm pretty sure you can go directly in as long as there's a preamp. But the sound quality will all depend on how good(expensive) the soundcard is. Even still, it's going to sound pretty unnatural and flat. If you had some sort of amp modeling software like Amplitube or Amp Farm it would work. But those are pricey. You can also buy hardware guitar preamps and modelers that would probably be cool. Line 6, Digitech, Boss, and Sansamp all have stuff. Digitech would probably be the cheapest though... You could also mic it, but the fidelity of the guitar sound all depends on how good the preamp, the mic, the placement, and the guitar amp are. One more thing you could do is use the preamp out from your guitar amplifier and plug it into your card. That would be better than just going to the card direct. All you'd need is two 1/4 inch chords and plug one into the input and in your guitar and the other into the back 1/4" jack that says "preamp" or "direct" on it and then into the sound card. But yeah that's about all I can think of.
