Oh Wizened Chef, I seek your truth.

I'm looking into getting a better kitchen-aid and am seeing two I want:

Commercial 5 Series - KM25G0X
or
Professional 600 Series - KP26M1X

The pro one has more attachments, a more powerful motor, more capacity, and more color choices but is about $150 less than the commercial one. Why?

also -- any brands better than kitchenaid?
