Each weeknight, Delilah's features a local musical host/dj, each one, a passionate authority in their selected sub-genre of ROCK. However, the first Tuesday of each month, it's all metal, baby - with METAL SHOP, Chicago's first and longest-running Metal music event. Over the past 15 years, there have been several very talented and enthusiastic hosts who have helped establish the standards on which METAL SHOP is built. Carrying this tradition is local Metal / Rock maven, Ron Platzer. What makes Delilah's METAL SHOP special is the dedication to this music that moves and shakes us to our core: METAL! For five hours, it's balls-to-the-wall, fist-shakin', devil-horns-wavin', screamin'-for-vengeance, metal up your ass! Whether you're into thrash metal, death metal, NWOBHM / NWOAHM, 80's hair metal, you're going to hear it all at METAL SHOP. Where else are you going to be able experience loud metal in a relaxed, cool environment, and hear Opeth, Bible Of The Devil, Slayer, Motley Crue, Saxon, Danko Jones, and Motorhead all in the time it takes you to finish your first (cheap) drink?!
