De Lions of Jah Reggae Band is upbeat style reggae dancehall with more conscious reggae-matic rub a dub roots music, with the wicked combinations of Da General singing. General Dave a native of Antigua brings the true name to life. With his intense aggressive chanting, General performs to the highest of standards. On Bass we have LinkyMan, Linky been playing the bass for 7 years, keeping the positive vibe and living as a Rastafarian, Linky is a true SolJah. On guitar we have Jeremy "Jahlonious Monk". Jeremy adds a funky style to De Lions. Growing up in Gainesville Florida in the music scene Jeremy wanted to follow his heart and play music. Jeremy moved to Boston Ma. to study music at Berklee College of music. Thats where Jeremy learned his funk. Our multi-talented keyboardist Cricket, lays down the rasta rhythm that keeps De Lions roarin.The heart beat of the band on the drums we have Desmond Cancer, AKA Skins. Des is a Native of South Carolina, Skins learned to play the drums through the Church. Des loves reggae music and you can sure tell by the way he hits those drums.Here you have the best reggae band in DUVAL..
