There has been a lot of controversy surrounding the mixed martial arts (MMA) events held at Woodward Park.
Often such hullabaloo occurs because people don't have all the facts. Several issues seem to occupy people's minds:
Is Woodward Park an appropriate place for cage fighting? Are cage fighters unskilled street fighters? This type of fighting is a barbaric sport. It diminishes Fresno's reputation.
