I'm a student at the min just starting my 3rd year and lovin it!!! when i'm not studying you'll find me listening to live music, catching up with bands and hopefully making someones day, even if its just a smile to a stranger, these little things help to make the world a better place.
As i've hinted above music is my real passion, what is a world without music? its the one thing in life that can reach the great divides between, cultures, religions, oceans, language, the list is endless, you can relive your lifetime through songs and music, it has the power to transport you to memories of joy, saddness, you name it in a split second.
I am a great believer in that music should be kept real, that its a two way street, the artists giving their time, efforts and talents for the people to enjoy. The public keeping their end of the bargain and paying for that time!! Stealing, downloading for free, it all comes at a cost, creates bad Karma and eventually everyone pays the price!! Pay to play is disgusting and discourages the real talent from playing venues. Promoters/publicans that take this option are sadly the losers because their clientel will see they've got shite music on an just not bother goin, what happens??? the place gets a bad reputation and sadly as is happening alot lately, they shut down. Why not make use of the great talents we have out there, only too willing to play for the price of their travel and maybe a few beers, that way everyones happy, real home grown talent gets its stage and the public have a night full of entertainment and fun. The worlds becoming too greedy, people trying to outdo each other to satisfy the need for a quick fix, thing is a quick fix never solved anything. Better to take time to choose wisely, dont rush we've got forever to get it right!!!!
