DeLooze began as a collaboration between an enchanting singer-songwriter longing to place her voice in this confusing musical age, with an unusual electronic musician tired of years of unfocussed experimentation. Stacey DeLooze’s rock/pop songwriting combined with Stephen Packe’s electronic, post-rock and classical influences creates moody and epic pop music with a modern backdrop of glitchy beats, morphed samples, warm synths and classical instrumentation. Robin Rigoulet’s machine-like, yet sympathetic drumming naturally complements the electronic beats, helping to bring DeLooze’s studio sound to the stage.
