We are a band that started from ACS(Barker) , we came together in 2007 to compete in Battle of the Bands 2 at ACS(Independent). We named ourselves Delorean after the time machine (the car) featured in Back to the Future , because we wanted to be able to be like the time machine and be able to take people back in time with our music.
After clinching 1st place in Battle Of the Bands 2 ,we changed our lead singer from Yuresh to Therese , a girl who competed against us in Battle Of the Bands 2 as the lead singer for the TKGS band. Delorean has played at orchard road for the Busking In The Sun gig to raise funds for the Myanmar victims, we also played at Fort Canning Park for Colour My Life 2008 organised by NYGH.
Delorean's a band that holds true to the roots of rock music , we are mainly a classic rock band , but we also play a lot of other genres such as blues , ballads , jazz and many more. On a mission to revive the magic of classic rock playing long forgotten tunes from the 50's to the 80's , Delorean hopes to be that one special band that gets you on your feet and rocking out like no modern band can. So if you are sick of listening to new age bands like we are , or if you just love to kick it old school, catch us at one of our shows, and buckle up as we blast you into the past, with tunes your mother would know!
