As a founder member of the band “Total Contrast” coming from a background of Reggae, this was a move into Dance / R&B Music. Delroy was signed to London Records having two albums released with several top forty hits. The most popular hits were “Hit and Run”, “The River” and “Takes A Little Time” which also achieved a No.1 position in the Dance Chart in America. Delroy and his band partner created a group called “Tongue N Cheek” which was licensed to EMI Records. Their role being to write and produce songs. The group had several top- forty hits, including “Forget Me Knot”, “Tomorrow” , “Nobody Can Love Me” and “Encore.”
