| General | Photography, metal detecting, rock hunting, fishing, camping, reading, writing, spending time with my family. Love to watch a good movie, and love music from rock to Bach. I am going to learn to play the guitar.

Favorites include Rolling Stones,Allman Brothers, Lynerd Skynerd, Fleetwood Mac, Van Morrison, Luciano Pavarotti, Sam Cook, Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Mahalia Jackson, Percy Sledge, Marvin Gaye, Eagles, Bob Seger, Jackson Browne, Janice Joplin, Grace Slick and Jefferson Airplane (all 60's music). There are so many others - I don't know if I'm spelling his name right but I also love Bochelli, 50 cent, Nellie, Gnarles Barkley, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Epic Savier, Johnny Cash.
Oh, I also love Tracy Chapman and Macey Gray. Tupach (I'm not sure of the spelling of some of these - but they move me). All of my children are musically inclined and love some of the same old stuff their mom listened to. | | Movies | Legends of the Fall, The African Queen, Romancing the Stone, War of the Roses, The Color Purple, Sounder, Twister, any movie about pirates, Slingblade, Psycho, The Godfather, The long kiss goodnight, The Edge, Twister, Beaches, Oh Brother where art thou, Gone with the wind. | | Television | I have been watching All My Children for 36 years. Love the Sopranos (although I buy the DVD's and watch a season at a time). Can't get enough of James Gandorfini. Love the history and discovery channels. Love Nip Tuck, The Shield, The Cleaner - and always Andy Griffith. | | Books | Gone with the Wind, Shogun, The Five People you meet in Heaven, The Count of Monte Cristo, All John Grisham, all Thomas Harris, and countless others - I love to read when I have the time.

I am a mother, a wife, a daughter, a sister, a grandmother, a registered nurse and director of nursing. I am an old hippie at heart and always will be. I love animals, camping, fishing, gardening, music, and most of all, my family. I hate republicans and what they stand for. I hate bullies. I hate loud mouths and obnoxious people. I love all storms. There is nothing to me like a thunderstorm rolling in, or the wind howling outside. I love the spring, daffodils and violets. I love the delta and all that implies - magnolias, honey suckle, southern cooking, southern hospitality and the southern people. I love love love Tony Soprano ( James Gandorfini)- he is the shit. I also love Brad Pitt, Anthony Hopkins, Randy Quaid, Ed Harris, Angelina Jolie, Meryl Streep, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Willie Nelson. I never throw anything away - my husband calls me the bag lady. If someone throws something cool out, I will pick it up and use it. Other people's stuff has more character than new stuff. I love to buy presents (although I actually hate to shop) unless it's a flea market. I love primitive antiques. I love adventure movies (Angelina kicks ass in Lara Croft). I also loved watching her kick Brad Pitt's sweet ass in Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Love Gina Davis and for God's sake I can't leave out Morgan Freeman - I climbed over 3000 children to get right next to him (I could count every mole on his face). It rocked. My favorite food is shrimp, real Italian spaghetti and Mama's fried chicken. I hate large gatherings (I feel smothered) I prefer small intimate gatherings with close friends and family. I hate pomp and circumstance. I am real, no pretentions left. My favorite hobby is photography - sunsets, old church's, nature, and candid shots of the people I love. I have no prejudice against any race. What a dull world this would be if we were all the same. We can learn so much from each other. I love the smell of fresh earth after a rain, and I love the smell of sheets that have been sun dried. I love dark chocolate truffles. Can't stand fake people.
I love Mike Ellis and the Hometown Boys - used to sing with him a million years ago when we were the "Jades" in highschool. I love to hear my husband sing "He stopped loving her today." It always makes me sad. I adore my family. Hate gossip but do indulge sometimes. Love prank phone calls - guess I'll never grow up. Also love Samuel Jackson.

I would like to meet Jesus, my Grandmother Ella and Martin Luther King. I would like to meet people who despise republicans as much as I do. I would like to meet people who are anti-war. I'd love to meet James Gandolfini, Brad Pitt and Anthony Hopkins. I would love to have met John Lennon, Janice Joplin and Jimi Hendrix. WOuld love to meet Billy Bob Thornton - he is probably one of the best actors I've ever seen.
