Delta Lambda Chi was founded on the principles of everlasting loyalty and sisterhood. The founder, Christine Lee, aspired to create a new kind of sorority with a unique mission that would set it apart from other sororities. This dream became a reality on February 9, 2002, when the original nine sisters made a vow to each other to maintain and pass down the legacy they created.

The memories we share mark an indelible journey through our college years that is symbolic of loyalty, perseverance, and personal achievement."
On December 9, 2008, The Gentlemen of Alpha Psi Rho Fraternity, Inc of San Diego State University will be hosting "A Sammy Thing - Shirt the Kids Charity Showcase" at Montezuma Hall located on SDSU’s campus. The purpose of the event is to promote the mission of PNOY Apparel's Shirt the Kids charity campaign, which is to send a minimum of 10,000 "Sammy the Sunshine" shirts to the underprivileged children of the Philippines by the end of the year. This showcase will be completely student-run and will feature live performances that will offer a culturally enriching experience for students, faculty, and community members. We anticipate hosting a successful showcase, attracting hundreds of people, but we need your help to achieve our goal.
