Neoclassical metal band, formed by Rodrigo Guerra (Guitar) and Nicolas Quinteros (Keyboard) after intermittent intends. They struggled through some years, so, half way there, Santiago Kegevic joined the band. In mid 2003 they could find the talented guitarist, Jorge Sepulveda.
Later on, Rodrigo Guerra, left the band, and Benjamin Lechuga took his place and joined the band at the same time as Felipe del Valle who would be the new vocalist.
Delta's base was formed and their professional career started at the end of 2003 when they had the chance to record their first CD. It was recorded at late 2003 / early 2004 and it's name is "Apollyon is Free" . Once the album was recorded, they finally could find the drummer that they were looking for, Andr..s Rojas.
Delta was playing live in all 2004 and 2005. Definitely, the 2005 was a good year, Benjamin Lechuga was endorsed by Ibanez Guitars! And in the middle of 2005, they were called to play with Stratovarius in Chile. After that, in early 2006, Delta started to work in the recording sessions for the new album called "Black & Cold" that's comming out soon, Benjamin Lechuga and Santiago Kegevic were endorsed by Magma Strings. Also there is a formation change in the band, Jorge Sepulveda decides to leave the band for personal reassons. Delta on 2007 opened shows for 2 worldwide metal bands: SYMPHONY X and VISION DIVINE. Delta has a long journey to travel. 2008 Couldn't start better. We toured through the South of Chile and on March 1st we opened the show for DREAM THEATER in Chile. April 15 we will be openeing for "Riders OF THE STORM: THE DOORS" too. Hard working and trying to do the best music they are capable to offer are their main objectives for the future.
We have played with some cool bands from other countries like Dream Theater, Symphony X, Stratovarius, and Vision Divine.

Yes, Andromeda is most alive, playing both live and in studio. They recently finished a new album. I don't know if it is released yet. I meet the keyboardplayer Martin almost every day, since we work at the same place. David is an old singing student of mine. The other guys in Andromeda I don't know really. David is an excellent singer, but in Dame Wiggens he plays the guitar. He started as a guitar player and is just as excellent doing that as in singing. Did you connect to them on myspace?
Master good luky in you music, De corazon un gran placer escuchar musica que auno le encanta y que mejor si esta hecha de manera inpresionante, un gran abrazo desde lejos ,, P. Castro
Hello there Chile! Nice to have you as a friend, and thanks for your nice comment. Yes, our sound is kind of modern, but there is also a lot of influences from the seventies and eighties progressive rock. Your sound reminds me a little of Andromeda, a band in which our keyboardplayer plays in. Our lead gutarist David is the singer in Andromeda as well, and they are more well-known around the world than Dame Wiggens. Maybe you have heard about them?
Anyway, I like your music. Great sound! Good luck!
