General

Music
I like just about everything short of country and rap. I listen to a lot of Initial D inspired Super Eurobeat music, but I always appreciate the classics in rock. Some favorites: Billy Joel, Kansas, Boston, Creed, Metallica, VNV Nation, Korn, Green Day, Weird Al Yankovic, Sonata Arctica, Dragonforce, and more.
Movies
I watch a little of anything and everything, but some of my absolute favorites include: Spaceballs, Office Space, Clerks 1 and 2, Naked Gun Trilogy, Star Trek: First Contact, almost every Pixar film, especially The Incredibles, and Monty Python and the Holy Grail, to name a few.
Television
I watch mostly Food Network shows, but occasionally I'll watch whatever seems interesting, which of the late, has been USA Network shows such as Royal Pains and Burn Notice. Also have been re-watching Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and one of these days I'll sit down and watch through the original Knight Rider
Anime-wise, I still watch a little of mostly older series since Gundam 00 finished, but I have been watching the new Haruhi episodes (FFFFFFF endless eight) and just recently K-ON!. Also watching the Rebuild of Evangelion though waiting for a DVD version of 2.0
Books
I don't read many books, I mostly read the news and such online, but lately I have been reading the light novels for Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu, and I'd like to read the light novels for Shakugan no Shana, and Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion.
Heroes
Honestly, I don't really have any heroes. I have the support of my friends and family, but I see heroes as someone who stands out from those you don't know and affects you in a way you never thought possible, and so far, I have none such person.

About me:
I'm old enough to have been there and done that, and young enough to learn from those who have done it before me. I work at Panera Bread doing whatever I need to do to keep a paycheck and pay my bills. I went to Branford Hall for Computer IT and hope to be getting a job soon as either a technician or help desk, from which my goal is to be a network administrator or similar job. I don't have many friends left after various events drove them all away, partly my fault of course. I'm kinda of a sociopath in a way, something I've been trying to overcome for many years on my own, but it's rather difficult when you've spent the better part of a decade and a half hiding behind a screen and never really facing the social fears you are supposed to in middle and high school. I usually am a pretty nice guy, I just don't attempt to get to know people beyond acquaintances out of fear of being hurt.
I have a loving girlfriend who probably tolerates more than she should from me, a rather special roommate, and several cats, all combined make my life both pleasant and a living hell at the same time. But then happiness isn't without its share of sacrifice.
Who I'd like to meet:
Sane, non-drama centered people. That pretty much means high-school-free adults, not manchildren, drama queens, momma's boys, righteous pricks, serious business people, and autocratic management.
I am "deltax20a" on most networks, instant messenger, and anything except Livejournal, which is "dividebydesu" so if you are feeling lonely or in need of image macros tnat don't make any sense, feel free to drop me a line. I'm probably that bored online that I'll talk to anyone.
