Biographie en Français
Le groupe était tout d'abord composé de
Philippe (clavier), Adrien (batterie) et Alexandre (guitare). Le projet n’avait
pas encore de nom et la musique était plutôt bourrine. Thomas (guitare) est
entré dans le groupe, nommé "Dementia Ad Vitam" quelques semaines après, mais
l'aventure avec lui fut courte. Il quitta le groupe peu de temps après (environ
2 mois).
A la recherche de musiciens, Adrien a demandé à Kevin, un ami du
lycée, de rejoindre le groupe, l'orientant alors vers un style plus symphonique.
Ils répètent quelques mois ensemble, font des compos et Emmanuelle rejoint le
groupe en tant que chanteuse suivie peu de temps après par Stéphane pour la
basse (enfin une basse !). Le groupe avance avec motivation mais quelques
divergences règnent au bout d'environ 6 mois (1 an pour Kévin). Stéphane et
Kévin quittent finalement le groupe en février 2007....
Voici l'état du
groupe aujourd'hui qui s'est orienté vers un style Dark Ambient. En Aout 2007,
Le premier album est finalisé, sous le nom de Spirit Of The Trees. Cette
introduction reçoit quelques bonnes critiques, et finalement, au mois de
février 2008, le groupe signe chez Occultum Productions pour la réédition de leur
premier album "Spirit Of The Trees" ainsi que pour le prochain à venir...
English Biography
The band was first of all composed of Philippe (keyboards), Adrien (drums) and Alexandre (guitar). The project did not have a name yet and the music was rather violent. Thomas (guitar) joined the band, named “Dementia Ad Vitam” a few weeks afterwards. But the adventure with him was short. He left the band after a short time (about 2 months).
In the need of musicians, Adrien asked Kevin, a mate from the college, to join the band, directing it towards a more symphonic styled music. They rehearsed some month together, made some material and Emmanuelle joined the band as a singer followed by Stephane (bass). The band grew with motivation but some misheards reigned at the end of approximately 6 months (1 year for Kevin). Stephane and Kevin finally left the band in February 2007...
Here is the actual state of the band which turned in a Dark Ambient style. August 2007, the first album, "Spirit Of The Trees", was finished. This introduction got some good feedback, and finally, in February 2007, the band signed at Occultum Productions in order to release the first album "Spirit Of The Trees
" and the upcoming second release...
