Damien Corcoran:
Hi diddle didy dum! I spent 5 years getting a degree in music. I spent 8 years getting my voice in shape with lessons in classical technique, 4 years singing opera and other classical works in NYC and Boston. It took me 10 years to figure out that:
a) singing Irish music is way more fun than opera
b) one cannot quaff Guinness in the middle of a Tanglewood performance and
c) it’s much easier to sing in English with an Irish accent than to memorize 3 hours of Italian, German, Latin, or (good Lord forbid) French.
Jono Gray:
I am thrilled to be performing great music with my brothers in Demijon. I play guitar, sing a bit, dabble in Irish whistle and drink all of the Guinness that Ian doesnt get to first.
Ian Corcoran:
I cannot conceive of a better way to enjoy the music I grew up with than to play much of it live with this group of guys. We pay homage to the friends and family who performed many of these songs before us and, as a bonus, we get to do so in environments where it’s socially acceptable (expected?) to have a Guinness in one hand a Jameson’s in the other…as long our instruments are not too far away!
JT Mouradian:
"I'm just the bass player". Proudly playing with three of my favorite people on this or any other planet. After almost 20 years of working behind the scenes, I snuck over to the other side. I play a Mouradian Reality bass built by my dad and brother through an Eden NA320 Nemesis head, a BBE 362 Sonic Maximizer and 4 very nice Celestion 10" drivers. (for the gear heads). I also have the pleasure of playing in a Praise band at Stoneham First Baptist Church every Sunday.
