Addy Scheele, piano, rhodes en composities, is werkzaam als pianist, componist, arrangeur en producer voor film, CD en theaterproducties. Hans Lass, uit Hamburg, is sinds zijn studie contrabas aan het Prins Claus Conservatorium een bekende verschijning in het Groninger jazz-circuit.
Tijdens zijn studie speelde hij met bekende muzikanten zoals: Mike Stern, John Scofield, Leonardo Amuedo en Philip Catharine. Na zijn studie volgde hij lessen bij Hein van de Geyn in Den Haag.
Saxofonist Gerlo Hesselink heeft gespeeld in zeer uiteenlopende formaties met o.a. Peter Tiehuis, Hod O’Brian en Johan Plomp.
Hij heeft veel internationaal bekende solisten begeleid zoals: Toots Thielemans, Benny Golson, Randy Brecker en Deborah Brown.
Op dit moment is Gerlo vast lid van: Get The Funk, Dual City Concert Band, Millennium Jazz Orchestra, JazzArt, de Ramblers en DEMI-SEQ.
Dennis Elderman is een professionele allround drummer die zich zowel in popmuziek als jazz uitstekend thuis voelt. Hij studeerde al op 21-jarige leeftijd af aan het Prins Claus Conservatorium, waar hij o.a. lessen volgde bij Owen Hart en Ralph Peterson.
Addy Scheele is a professional pianist, composer, arranger and producer. In his own studio in Groningen, Holland, he performs a wide range of activities including film scores, theater music and CD production for various artists.
Hans Lass was born in Hamburg, Germany. Since his graduation from the Prins Claus Conservatory he has become a known and respected double-bass player in jazz clubs and venues in and around Groningen. As a student he played with musicians like: Mike Stern, John Scofield, Leonardo Amuedo and Philip Catharine. He completed post graduate studies at the conservatory in The Hague with Hein van de Geyn.
Sax player Gerlo Hesselink played with numerous different groupes and bigbands like the Dual City Concert Band, Get The Funk,
Millennium Jazz Orchestra, JazzArt, De Ramblers and DEMI-SEQ.
Thus he played with well known soloist's as: Toots Thielemans,
Benny Golson, Randy Brecker and Deborah Brown.
Dennis Elderman is a professional drummer who feels equally at ease playing pop music as well as jazz. He graduated from the Prins Claus Conservatory in Groningen at the remarkably young age of 21. Among his teachers were Owen Hart and Ralph Peterson.
Het repertoire van DEMI-SEQ bestaat uit eigen composities van pianist Addy Scheele en geestverwante componisten zoals Chick Corea, Joe Zawinul, Herbie Hancock, Sting, Lennon&McCartney en Miles Davis.
Hun eerste album “By Nature”- uitgebracht op het label “Squint Records”-
bestaat geheel uit eigen werk.
Tijdens optredens worden deze stukken afgewisseld met jazz-fusion classics
als Crystal Silence, Mercy Mercy Mercy, Cantaloupe Island en jazzy arrangementen van pop standards als Fragile en Eleanor Rigby.
The repertoire of DEMI-SEQ comprises own compositions of pianist Addy Scheele and congenial composers such as Chick Corea, Joe Zawinul, Herbie Hancock and Miles Davis. The first album "By Nature" - released by the "Squint Records" label - is solely their work.
