Demis Tzivis was born 1976 in Malmoe, Sweden by Greek parents. He started his musical career back in 1994 by forming the rock band Payback. During the upcoming six years the band became internationally known for excellent live performances and a vicious debut album "For Your Eyes Only"(1999). While Demis was the frontman in Payback he also ran two side projects, the alternative/soul groups Drive-by and Rounders, which both were very successful between 1996-2000. Payback split up in late 2001 due to musical differences. From 2002 to 2004 Demis worked on his first solo album with producer Dj Erase (Looptroop, Timbuktu, Promoe). Demis first solo album " Alla Diggar Kent" (Swedish language) was released April 18, 2006 to great response. The album sold out in less than one week in Malmoe, Sweden and had two hit music videos produced for the album. Demis took a break from the music business in early 2007 due to personal reasons. Beginning of 2008, Demis Tzivis returned to the music scene with a reinvented style, which led to new songs and new dreams. A new album A Long Walk To Heaven was released worldwide January 2009, and included five musicvideos. Demis is currently working on his new album with lyricist B.Pedraza and producer Lefty. Demis also works with various music producers/composers, including Nordpol, Nikos Pitloglou and Mr. T. Selected reviews:
