Zhou Boshan, English name Demmy. Born in July 28, 1989. Now studying in Hunan University. At 14-year-old Demmy began learning the guitar, producing original songs. He started his first rock band in high school, served as lead singer and guitarist. At 17-year-old he began to produce electronic music, and later set up an electronic music band, served as lead singer and music producer. After entering the university, Demmy was invited by several pubs and performing agents in Changsha City and Shanghai City etc. to do live performances. After independent music creation, Demmy released his first music album ‘A Journey to 1989’ before the age of 20. <New Flying Magazine>, which was affiliated to Hunan TV, made an exclusive interview upon his story, and a documentary was shot by as well. He has founded the only electric music live show club in Changsha City, known as Fridge Club, which has been holding electric music live shows performed by various electric musicians from both local and other cities in China. As the one and only electric-music-themed show party, Fridge Club has gained certain influential status in the music circle of Changsha City. 2010, Demmy released the second album ‘2 Sides‘, people are able to buy the album in Hong Kong, Sydney, Melbourne, London (all of UK) and selected stores in places such as New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland etc. It is also available from the internet through itunes’ paying downloads. The post-production and mixing work was done in London. The art and design work was done in Detroit. Now Demmy continues to produce music and other creative works.
