TIME FOR THE SUPERDELEGATES TO STEP UP TO THE PLATE AND VOTE FOR OBAMA NOW!
May 7 2008 3:33 PM

Since the Supreme Court decided two weeks ago to uphold a draconian law in Indiana that requires citizens show a government issued photo ID to vote, Republican legislatures across the country have started moving fast to pass their own version of this horrible law.
And just like the poll taxes and literacy tests of the past, Republicans hide their real purpose under the banner of preventing possible voter fraud. But these laws are really about stopping senior citizen, low income, and newly registered Americans from voting. Why? Because they typically vote for Democrats.
We must stand together and protect every American's right to vote.
SIGN THE PETITION NOW:

Already 19 states are rushing to pass anti-voting laws. And just this week, Missouri Republicans started taking it a step further. A photo ID isn't good enough; they want you to show your birth certificate or passport in the polling booth too.
What's next? Require a blood sample? Maybe a lock of hair? Or some of your DNA?
Republicans claim this is about national security. They have no proof, but illegal immigrants might be trying to vote. On the other hand, just last week in Indiana's primary, as many as 12 nuns were denied their right to vote because they didn't have government issued photo-ids. That’s right; evidently Republican's are protecting our democracy from our biggest threat: nuns without ids.
Together, we have the power to stop this assault on our right to vote.
TAKE ACTION AND SIGN THE PETITION NOW:

John McCain supports my Iraq War all the way. He is even planning to restore the Draft as soon as we get him elected. That way he will have the troops needed to salvage my accomplished mission. John plans to build in a lot of deferments so the right kind don’t get sucked in, better than those exemptions that kept me and the Vice President out of Vietnam.

I don’t know were John McCain gets these people, guys like his so called top strategist Charlie Black. The guy is a buffoon, a clown, worse. I know about clownish buffoonery and I know Black took one of the best things my Administration could do to help elect McCain right off the table. All the dirty tricks we have been brainstorming around with will all backfire on us now, windup hurting our Republican cause, not helping like they would have before this blockhead Black shot his damn mouth off about how some terrorism would assure a McCain victory.

OBAMA 2008!

Since good 'ol W came into power, FISA has become a bill that grants the government and the telecom companies the right to spy on its own citizens, and can do so for a week without even having to apply for a warrent. Even worse, the previous FISA bill Bush signed would allow for spying or wire tapping specific individuals believed to be part of a terrorist regime, now entire groups of individuals can be singled out and surveilled. This administration covers itself under the blanket of terrorism, keeping Americans afraid so they will succumb to any outrageous demands this administration has.
Even our current Democratic Presidential Candidate Obama voted Yay for the new bill. This pseudo progressive who chants cCHANGE anytime he has a microphone, has now given the telecom companies the go ahead to listen to us without retribution for their crimes. But wait, since the FISA bill was passed today, this isnt a crime anymore. Every American citizen is now at risk of being wiretapped via telephone, cell phone, computer, email, myspace, AIM, etc, you see where im going, and having whatever we say, read or write used against us at the will of the telecom companies and the government. Since all American citizens consist of every race and religion known to mankind, everyone is at risk.

Maybe Lewis Black had it right in his comedy routine when he said of the Democratic Party losing the Presidential election in 2004 was like a normal kid losing at the Special Olympics.

The Lisbon Treaty is the most serious challenge facing anyone who cares about social justice.
The treaty, if passed, will undermine democracy, lead to a greater militarisation and centralise power into the hands of a Euro elite.
The Lisbon Treaty, in its earlier form of the EU Constitution, was already rejected in the summer of 2005 by the people of France and the Netherlands.
However, the European Council and Commission ignored this democratic rejection. In response they fashioned the Lisbon Treaty, which is essentially the same document·
As Bertie Ahern said, "Thankfully, they have not changed the substance… 90 per cent is still there."
Irish voters have been given a unique opportunity to give their opinion on the future of the EU.
We should protest at an undemocratic procedure which has denied the rest of the people of Europe a chance to vote. We should also oppose the treaty in its own right.
1. The Lisbon Treaty will lock Europe into a straight jacket of neo-liberalism. It makes little provision for a social Europe.
2. It does nothing to address the lack of democracy in the EU and helps create the basis for an EU super-state.
3. It gives legal support to EU battle groups and NATO. It also forces countries to increase military spending.

This World health Organization report, the one that calculates 223,000 Iraqi civilians killed since we invaded, is outrageous! Of course, we don’t give estimates of civilian deaths, but our President he figures 30,000. President Bush keeps track. He personally regrets even this small loss of life. He counts. He is a compassionate leader. Now go forth and let his compassion shine forth. Good spin. Good spin. Damn good spin!

I sure am glad old John McCain, another fighter pilot, is going to succeed me in office. Us pilots make better Presidents because we see things from high up. Course, I am a better pilot than John: I was never shot down like he was.
Am I right? Course I am. I am still President and that makes me always right.
