Enough compromises, enough bad talking. The Demolisher squad is armed and on the move. Basic instinct of this group is simple: to spread some rotten
metal every member can be proud of. Demolisher is a zealous group of five
experienced musicians from Helsinki.
For a short history, the whole thing started in 2005. Demolisher entered
Hellhole studios to record "Deformation", a three-song
compilation of thrashy death metal. The debut established the essence of our
sound - brutal and raw. A year after "Deformation" an
Internet single was released. The song "Red Flies" was a welcome
recruit in Demolisher's production - it got accepting reviews from the
listeners. Formerly consisting of session musicians, by the end of the summer 2006 the band finally got a complete line-up. A common tone was found immediately, and helluva rehearsing began. Along with the new brutal songs made, the aim was also set higher.
The ice was finally broken in 2007, when "Enter The Suffering" -EP was released. It got tons of good reviews (i.e. "release of the month" by Finnish Imperiumi) and was played in several radio shows - both in Finland and worldwide.
Two fresh tracks were recorded in the beginning of 2008. The promo disc was a showdown of Demolisher's extended song arsenal, since it contained the fastest and the slowest track ever made by us. The songs got exaltingly good reviews (once again "release of the month" in Imperiumi).
In 2009 Demolisher will concentrate on writing a bunch of killer tracks. About the next studio invasion: negotiations about the next recording predict that it will no longer be a mere demo...
