Looking at a possibility of breaking into the acting business. I'll be starring in a film that will be shown at this year's (2005) Bellingham Film Festival.
I've been described as many things, but I hope I am remembered best as a good friend. One aspect of my personality some people don't seem to understand is that I AM A TEETOTALLER. For those who don't know what that means:
Teetotaller
One who abstains completely from alcoholic beverages.
I'm the type of guy that prefers to believe that there are a few good people in the world, and that we all can practice genuine good in order to make this world a better place. Don't confuse that for naïveté though, I know how the world works. I just try to be an optimist. I am a good person, and I just want to be friends with good people (and maybe a few bad people to balance things out).
I'm hopelessly addicted to movies (film major) and comic books, and I have my political views. But I don't let that stop me from being friends with people who don't believe what I believe. Just, FYI.
If someone has a problem, I want to help with it. I had a time in my life where I didn't really have friends there for me, so I don't wish that on anybody. I always enjoy the company of girls, and want to let them know that I AM SINGLE.
To the people who dismiss comics as 'just for kids' and not worthy of your time...
Here's a quote from a New York Times bestseller, who's also one of the best comic writers in the industry today: Brad Meltzer, when asked what comics need to do to be 'accepted' by a mainstream audience:
First, (comic books) have to stop apologizing for what they are. Somehow, over time, a literary hierarchy has been established with "literary fiction" on top of the pyramid...and comic books somewhere toward the bottom, just above comic strips. The worst part is, the comics industry believes it, forever wondering how they can be "accepted." Let me tell you something, just because something is in a graphic format doesn't mean it needs to be apologized for. And just because a novel is serious, doesn't mean it's serious fiction. The only thing comics should worry about is telling a good story. You do that and people will find it.

You are dark, love gadgets and have vowed to help the innocent not suffer the pain you have endured.

Honest and a defender of the innocent. You sometimes make mistakes in judgment but you are generally good and would protect your crew from harm.
Yo...I'm taking time off from school, trying to figure out why I act the way I do. Thanksgiving was fine, we had a small family dinner like we have been doing for awhile (but this time we had a family friend over who tells the raunchiest jokes).
I'm acting in the play "A Christmas Carol" this weekend and next weekend. Maybe I'll send you some photos and/or video.
Not that I have anything exciting going on. I had my wisdom teeth pulled Monday so I've been sitting around alone since then, I'm pretty much so bored I might die. I get to go back to work Sunday though... It makes me sad that I am excited for that.
We should really pace ourselves, I'm not sure we can handle anymore excitement in our lives!
Haha oops. Well I consider both Sacramento and here in WA my home. I meant that I hadn't been back to Cali in a long time. I am still out in BirchBay, I'd like to move out to Bellingham though...
I have been pretty good! How about you? What have you been up too?
Heck yes I am excited!!!! Only 13 more days!!!! I really want to go to a midnight showing on Thursday if I can!! But I want to go to the IMAX in Langley too lol
