Since a chance meeting at Richard Durrant’s Airport club in 2001 Alistair Mackie and Mark Collyer have been co-writing for the last eight years (and about 3 times as long independently.)
Taking inspiration from such diverse sources as procrastination and hangovers to small town mentality, teaching English as a foreign language and the Apollo programme the raw songs have been chewed around, ruminated and partially digested before being regurgitated and reassimilated into their current form.
Mark uses the Cmajor7th chord at every opportunity and Alistair likes to make lyrical reference to the marvel of the internal combustion engine...
