About me:
Demon FM is the new community radio station for Leicester based at De Montfort University, broadcasting all year long, twenty four hours a day.
As always we are about giving everyone the chance to join in with helping us to run a truly great radio station. Its a fantastics experience and alongside the opportunity to meet new people and have some great nights out at the hands of our events team, we give everyone the chance to expand their radio skills through our professional training and development sessions.
Demon FM is a valuable tool for students and volunteers looking to get into the radio and media industries. Many of our Alumni have gone onto employment with the BBC, GCAP, Chrysalis, EMAP, Wise Buddah Talent, ITV, Now Digital and The Radio Academy, whilst many of our DJ's have apperared on national labels such as the Ministry of Sound.
Don't think you have a voice for radio? No problem! There are plenty of things to get involved with on the station. Whether you can help our marketing team hand out flyers or solder audio cables for engineering, we're sure you'll find somewhere to put any skills you have to good use (even if that does include just coming out for a beer with us!).
