Demp Week was founded in 1997 by Dj Demp, a Tallahassee resident who serves as a celebrity tour Dj and has appeared nationally on Bet's Rap City, 106 & Park, MTV's TRL, Carson Daly, Apollo, Source Awards and a host of others. Demp Week, is a week long birthday celebration for Dj Demp, celebrity tour headquatered in Tallahassee, Fl and dedicated to inviting entertainment personalities & companies to Tallahassee to encourage economic opportunities for local businesses and independent artists while raising funds to benefit local charities. Demp Week now in it's 11th year, has become one of the most highly anticipated and newsworthy events. In a nut shell, we throw parties from Monday to Sunday, each nite with a theme to celebrate Dj Demp's birthday. Celebrtities from all over come to celebrate and usually Dj Demp has surprise guest throughout the week to spice up each party. Demp Week has all types of activities from a celebrity concert to a celebrity basketball game, Fashion shows, and even a celebrity panel held at FSU. It is the biggest event in Tallahassee and one of the biggest events in Florida. You don't wanna miss the event of the year.......
