About Demuredin

Demuredin was started in late 2005 in the small town of Mandeville, Louisiana. Out of the wake of the Nu-metal collapse and the rise of the emo fad, Demuredin brought a fresh sound to a very stale music scene. Having six members has been an essential part of Demuredin and continues to push their sound in new directions. Brian Fontaine's guttural vocals propel the bands energy to new levels and keep the crowd chanting along. Shane Wesley and Daniel Ricketts' precise guitar work and memorable solos are unmatched. Pounding drum beats and driving bass lines provided by drummer, Dustin Cox, and bassist, David Lee, pummel the listener from start to finish. Atmospheric melodies and catchy synths conducted by keyboardist, Christine Donner, further elevate Demuredin to a place of their own. Their intense, energetic stage presence keeps you captivated from the first song of the set to the very last. To this day, they stand apart from the crowd of "hardcore" clone bands that have sprung up recently in their hometown and across the country, by staying true to themselves and writing music for the love of it and not just to be what's "cool" at the moment. The members of Demuredin will remain persistent, and with their debut album about to be released through Philanthropy Records, you can be sure this band will continue to reach new heights.
