Television
When I watch tv more than an hour a week, it's already much. I prefer watching dvds.
My "tv heart" belongs to Science Fiction and so I enjoyed the ideas in shows like Star Trek TOS, Raumpatrouille Orion and Battlestar Galactica TOS, though the stories couldn't really catch me entirely.
Nowadays I love watching the new Battlestar Galactica show as well as the Star Trek movies.
Non-Science Fiction shows I like(d) are A-Team for example and Hawaii Five-0 in which I also admire the beautiful landscape and innovative camera work.
And yes, I like the Simpsons.
Books
No special book. I prefer reading in English to prevent this language from leaving my head :-) I like reading anything that's forming pictures in my head.

(My equipment contains a Pentax *istD (digital mirror-reflex) with three lenses that I mainly use: 18–25mm/1:4, 1:5,6, 50mm/1:1.7 and 100mm/1:2.8. Those three allow me to leave the flash at home. Flashes belong into thunderstorms, not into concerts.)
