Music
runs the gamut, pending my mood -- anything from Jon Schmidt and Josh Groban to Vienna Teng to Disney Princesses (I get extra points for being able to admit that!) to Rascal Flatts to Precious Death. I'm also known for listening to international radio -- especially Italian and Indian.
Movies
A Beautiful Mind, Sense and Sensability, the Power of One, the Count of Monte Cristo, Shadowlands, Anne of Green Gables . . . My yardstick for a good movie is anything that makes me think or makes me feel.
Television
Globetrekker, Man vs Wild, Alias (miss that show!)

About me: I once heard an illustration of a group of people living at the base of a cliff. Some of those people are happy and content all of their days to live by their cliff and admire its strength and beauty. Others are curious what is beyond the cliff, but lack the drive to seek out what lay on the other side. Still others, overcome with sheer wonder, absolutely must know what is on the other side of the cliff. Travel is my passion, my "other side of the cliff," and I hope my life will contain many trips to the other side. Please see my blog for stories of these journeys.

sorry it took me so long to check out that amazing collection of photos from your travels... you've inspired me to get a good camera and stop losing so many good moments and memories I could have from touring.
I've been told that before. Sometimes a break from reality is absolutely necessary. The way I see it, I'm just doing what everyone else wants to do, but won't. :)
Denise, your copyright pictures are torturous but so incredibly beautiful!!! Recently, they have become my happy place due to me not getting my beach this summer....
