Born as the youngest of one brother and one sisters, she is a “baby” and “passive” type, doing whatever at her own pace. So, she is oftentimes compared to a “white cat.”
She was born and has lived in Shizuoka Prefecture. To enter a college, she came to Osaka in the spring of 2004, when her niece, Maririne, found out her talent as a singer in a Karaoke house. Soon they formed a unit which is now known as Denki Candy.
She wants to become a “cool beauty”, and why can’t she?
Milky started the solo activity as "Milky way" in October, 2008.

Born as the eldest of one sister and four brothers, she has grown up to become a sort of “leader”. At the same time she likes to do things for others. She is compared to a little Japanese dog, as Milky is compared to a white cat.
She was born and has grown up in Osaka. With the sparkling sounds and romantic melodies of now legendary “Keihan Girl” which literally means the girls of Kyoto and Osaka, Mariｌｙｎ made a debut in the world of indie music, and after brilliant activities, she suddenly disappeared like a comet, so it looked, but ……
Appearance of her niece, Milky kindled Mariｌｙｎ’s passions for rock-in roll music again. Soon after the disbandment of Keihan Girl, Mariｌｙｎ and Milky formed a niece band “Denki Candy.”
The super-pop melodies and the sexy smiles of Mariｌｙｎ are alive as ever.
In 2006 Marilyn found herself to be a lucky girl, because she was invited to act as a support player for Shone Knife, the band Mariｌｙｎ has admired and respected ever since she was a music fan, and she enjoyed performance at all the important summer music festivals such as Summer Sonic, Rockin Japan FES.
At last, Marilyn became a official member of the Shonen Knife in October, 2008.
She is called "Ritsuko" in Shonen knife.
