Jack Weir biography:

Short version. Having been found and raised by a group of wild highwaymen, I had a difficult start in life. I began playing guitar to relieve the tedium of jumping relentlessly from vehicle to vehicle on the major motorways of scotland. When my family were driven underground by a rival faction, I had nothing better to do than concentrate on mastering the art of touching the guitar body lightly with a tin of pilchards.

I'm in a few bands etc. - Secta Rouge, The Discordian Trio, The Gorms, and I also play solo improv guitar gigs.
