Music
I have an eclectic taste in music and like everything from underground hip-hop to heavy metal.
Underground hip-hop would be my favorite as I like the following: MF Doom/Viktor Vaughn, Cannibal Ox, Jurassic 5, Aesop Rock, Dilated Peoples, and many, many more. As far as more mainstream stuff goes I like The Beastie Boys, Tribe Called Quest, Pete Rock and CL Smooth, KRS One, Public Enemy, and the Gorillaz.
I also enjoy various blues and classic rock bands ranging from Paul Jones to T-Model Ford to Cream to the Yardbirds to Canned Heat.
I like some newer stuff; songs here and there that I hear on 88.5 (Philly indy station) or satellite radio. I like Radiohead and Beck to name a few.
I'll even listen to some metal like Slayer or old-school Metallica and even stuff like James Brown.
The bottom line is though I'm willing to give anything a shot and am open to listening to almost anything. I'm pretty liberal with my music interests.
Movies
As far as movies go I like a movies from all genres like Fight Club, Pulp Fiction, Crash, Being John Malkovich, Dark City, Natural Born Killers, Clockwork Orange, Scarface, Magnolia, Godfather I and II, American Beauty, Goodfellas, Raging Bull, Aviator, and Syriana.
I also like movies, which bring the funny like CB4 and The Big Lebowski.
Television
Deadwood, The Wire, Sopranos, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Entourage-see the pattern I just like shows on HBO and watching sports. I'm a 4-for-4 Philly sports guy! Love the Eagles mainly and am a die-hard Phillies and Sixers fan (though they are terrible these days) and watch the Flyers a little.
Books
Brave New World, 1984, Invisible Man, and Love Medicine to name a few.
Heroes
I'd have to go with Stanley Kubrick and Howard Hughes here. Kubrick because he's the greatest filmmaker ever and was totally uncompromising, and Hughes because he was the epitome of a maverick and like Kubrick was uncompromising.
About me: I'm a half-glass full kind of guy. My basic philosophy is that things are never as bad as they are, yet never as good as they are. My friends would describe me as laid-back, fun loving, funny, complex, intellectual, and very opinionated.
Without writing a book, I'll keep it simple as far as describing what I do for a living. I work full-time designing electrical systems (best way to explain my job-ask me if you'd like a further explanation) and run a Philly sports website on the side called Phillypurge.com.
I love all my Philly sports teams, but am foremost an Eagles and Phillies fan. I also like writing, movies, jogging, hanging with my friends, the occasional stops at the bar, photography, and traveling. I have many dreams and aspirations and the only thing that can stop me is me.

hey you, indeed long time no hear. Things are going ...just broke up with my boyfriend but oh well ... he says i am too fat! So i guess I am going back on a diet. Work is work ... its going very well.
