My Space or Yours? Myspace Layouts and more at myspaceoryours.net!
Dennis Curley is a singer, songwriter, pianist, and musical director based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Dennis is a native of Syracuse, NY, and a graduate of Northwestern University (Evanston, IL). He is the arranger of Schoolhouse Rock Live! and Schoolhouse Rock Live Too! (published by MTI).
Dennis composed the music for U Betcha: The Making of a Minnesota Boy Band, as well as Pride and Plot of Pointlessness, the best-selling show in the Brave New Workshop’s Summer Series 2006. Most recently he collaborated with Jim Robinson on Whistling Past the Graveyard, which had an enormously successful run at St. Paul's Lowry Lab Theatre. Dennis was the composer, as well as providing musical accompaniment, musical direction and stage direction.
He has performed the roles of Jinx, Frankie, and Sparky in the musical Forever Plaid, and was seen in Hot ‘n’ Cole and My Way at the Ordway Center. He recently performed at St. Paul’s History Theatre in Orphan Train, and in Christmas Carole Petersen at the Loring Playhouse. Dennis sings with the Twin Cities’ rock bands Pizazz and The Explainers, and has performed many times in Warm Beer Cold Women, the critically acclaimed salute to the music of Tom Waits, which, he is excited to announce, will be a part of the Guthrie Theatre’s 2007-08 season.
