  • Bio

In 2007 I signed with Illegible Records. Some of the other label artists are shown below... check them out. A nice variety of styles! A few of them helped out with my albums. A lot of my music is available for purchase at http://dennispreston.bandcamp.com. My newest album I released myself as a digital download only. It's called SONGS & INVENTIONS. I also decided to put some of my artwork in the "pics". Some of it is pretty old. I also have LIKE pages on Facebook that you can join because I'd rather limit the size of my friend list on the personal page. So... look for the Dennis Preston Music and the Dennis Preston Like My Stuff pages. Feel free to add on those. ~[FYI]~ If you leave a message with a LARGE photo/graphic below, it will be taken down. And just because somebody is in my friends section, it doesn't necessarily mean I endorse their use of photos/graphics, language and subject matter on their spaces. Also, not all people that want to be added on as a friend will make it. There's just some spaces that I can't link to for a number of reasons. "That's just the way it is." - Bruce Hornsby

I am listening to "The Gone" right now. I like the psychedelic feel of this...The vocals sound like they have some kool effects on them and the guitars have a nice deep sound...like they are tuned down low... This has a nice rich sound and I like all those layered vocals!!! Kool guitar solos too!!!..Reminds me of these 4 cats from Liverpool.

Thanks for adding me! I've been enjoying your illustrations for many years - I remember those posters for the Melody Ballroom shows, as I grew up not far from there and the posters made their way to my dad's tattoo shop in Westland. I did some tattoo work on one of the county cops who was part of the final raid on the Melody Theater before the building was eventually torn down - he had some interesting and somewhat disgusting anecdotes to share about the bust.

I was wondering if you've ever considered drawing a set of tattoo flash - we never can get enough Christian tattoo ideas and we're criminally short on good music-themed designs. (It could also be a convenient foray into the trade if you ever wanted to learn to tattoo - with your drawing skills, you'd kick ass behind the needles!)
