Inside Out is a five-song EP featuring folk-acoustic music with spiritual themes. Zender's sophomore album is full of songs that tackle our human struggle to find God’s divine purpose in our lives. What is the path we’re destined for? Why are we so often pulled away from that straight and level road to the emptiness that surrounds it? This record picks up where his debut record Walls left off, accepting the Lord into every aspect of our lives, while allowing ourselves to be consumed by His love from the inside out.
Zender’s rich, insistent voice lends an introspective quality to the lyrics, which explore how we go about finding divine love amidst the distractions of our day-to-day lives. His songs deal with the struggle to tear down the protective walls surrounding our egos. It’s these walls that keep us from feeling the healing presence of God. Can we recognize Him in the smallest corners of our daily existence? In the people who surround us or in the simple glory of a day well lived?
Dennis Zender has been working in music ministry for the past eight years and is currently the music director for the Holy Cross Catholic Parish in Lake Stevens, Washington. While he roots his ministry at Holy Cross he travels the Northwest leading worship concerts and contemporary Adoration services at multiple parishes, Christian cafés and youth conventions. Prior to his full commitment to music ministry, he spent six years as the lead singer and songwriter for the Sony Records rock band Truce. In 2008, Walls marked his debut as a Catholic artist.

great song - writing of the lyrics, composing of the music, and in terms of the meaning also. somewhat reminiscent of shawn mcdonald i'd say...can't wait the whole album!
Everything with me is... well... busy. I'm currently enroled in four schools right now which doesn't allow much free time. I'm in a club that takes up most of my weekends but I get to go to Yakima this weekend for a convention, pretty stoked about that!
