deNorthwode has been Djing & producing beats for over ten years.
deNorthwode is more than just a party dj. He also runs the Crookneck lab a underground studio in the eastern suburbs of adelaide that produces aussie hip hop (check it out in the the book "Behind the Beat").
He plays @ Elysium Lounge every friday
& Electric light hotel every staturday night & plays anything and everything to get the party jumping.
He has played all over Australia and always seems to get the club bumping!

deNorthwode is also a rapper known as B.V.A & makes up one third of legendary underground crew Mnemonic Ascent (alongside Dj Ransom & Raph Boogie). Mnemonic Ascent have toured extensively across the continent, performing alongside such artists as J5, Company flow, Rodney p and Skits,Hilltop Hoods, Resin dogs and Downsyde to name a very few. As B.V.A. he is a highly regarded Aussie rapper - considered a veteran of the scene by his 20’s. The enviable reputation he forged with Mnemonic Ascent has been strengthened by his collaborations with other hip-hop acts across the country. Most recently, projects by Muph & Plutonic, Astronomy Class, V ep and Jase (on the Beatheadz Connection) have all benefited from BVA's forceful and intelligent rapping. B.V.A is currently working on his solo album "leave it to to B.V.A" and also collaborating with Koolism and the rest of Mnemonic Ascent on the group "party starters" full length offering.
As deNorthwode, just some of his extensive production credits include F&d, Alove, Spikey Tee, Brad Strut, Shin-ki-row, Lazy Grey, Brothers Stoney, and 2dogs. Remix credits include Hilltop Hoods, the Herd & Resin dogs to name a few. deNorthwode has long been a regular dj around town known for playing a surprisingly diverse selection of party music that always attracts dancing girls.
