About me: I often get overlooked and that's one of the greatest things about me. I have cheap rent, beautiful mountains nearby, lots of venues, and loads of lovely people live in me. I also have lots of great bars and clubs- more bars per capita than any other US city. With the altitude, it supposedly takes less to get my residents liquored up, but we're no bunch of lightweights. I recommend the Gothic, Gabor's, Climax, Larimer, Bluebird, Bar Bar, HiDive, Thin Man, Benny Blanco's, La Rumba, High Street Speakeasy, Rhinoceropolis, Paris on the Platte, Monkey Mania, Sputnik, HYHH, Illegal Pete's, PS Lounge, 60 South, St Mark's, the Walnut Room, Garageland, JR's, Lost Lake, and Double Daughters...but there are many others as well. Fancy Tiger and Chielle for clothes & more. Twist n Shout or Wax Trax or Black & Read for music. Tattered Cover is a great bookstore. I'm an oasis between Chicago and California. I'm the sunniest city in the US. Feel free to be my friend, or better yet, come see me in person.
