They have that old raw gritty sound that you look for in both soul and rock.... Well worth seeing if you haven't!!!----------They are coming back January 15th, 2008 to the Trinity Lounge Boulder. See the poster above!! Excellent... enjoy the block... John Butler Trio, my daughter Melissa turned me on to. Hope to go see them later this month.... Old Blues..... I'm on the KBCO Music Advisory Board. We help choose the music that plays on the air. Well, there was an appreciation show that was held on January 21, 2008 at the (New) The Soiled Dove-underground. I was really impressed how nice it was and will now go there more often now that I know it is a really intimate place to see my favorites and the up and comings. Anyway, the appreciation show was very exciting for me, because I really liked both artists, Shawn Mullins, but especially the newest, Newton Faulkner. He's from the UK and I absolutely love him. I've been sending emails to the KBCO myspace page since August or September to play him. finally in December they did...and now he came here. This was only his second time to the states and the first tour. We were very lucky to have him... He was fabby.... Enjoy the pics... I'll try to post some vids below later...Kat Photobucket

php emvam, Image Hosting Back Door Slam. Saw them in November 2007. We really liked them and JUMPED at the opportunity to see them again. Cold wind and air wouldn't stop us... Great show. Rob Drabkin, he opened the show and will be at the Soiled Dove Saturday, January 19th... He's definitely worth checking out!!!!

October 18, 2007 The Paramount Theater, Downtown Denver, KBCO 30th Anniversary Concert!!! What a GREAT TIME!!! My friend Susan, My Daughter Melissa, and myself. We met most of the band and just had a great time. The Paramount is a great old theater. Got my hands slapped a couple of times for taking pictures inside...big no no... ooops...lol

My friend Susan, (kimpy) and I drove to Dallas on October 22, 2007. While there, we went to the Dallas House of Blues show featuring Paolo Nutini and his band. Here is part of our trip....lol can't post it alll.lololol We had a great time and was exhausted by the time we got back home. 17 HOURS TO DRIVE ARG!!!!
