About me: The Denver Police Explorers is an exploring post chartered cooperatively by the Learning for Life Division of the Boy Scouts of America and the Denver Police Department. Our purpose is to provided exposure to law enforcement careers to young men and women between the ages of 14 and 20. Our youth members receive classroom and hands-on training. We meet every Wednesday evening at 6:00 pm at the Denver Police Academy located at 2155 N. Akron Way. Explorers who have completed the recruit phase of explorer training may ride with Denver Police Officers as they patrol. We are a proud member of the Law Enforcement Explorer Post Advisors Association of Colorado.

Thank you for the friendship and for your support in helping increase the effort to EDUCATE our youth of the dangers of drugs and violence. Our future generation depends on the youth of today. Alcohol and Drugs are plaguing our society and we need to attack it head on where it is digging its roots; with our youth in our schools. Knowledge and Truth are the key to help them stay clean. They deserve the TRUTH about all of the drugs they will incounter. They are simply too smart to accept the old 'Just Say NO' adage. Todays teens want to KNOW for themselves, and a rebellious society we have created. They will seek the truth themselves and we must educate them with it. Hello, I have been with the Denver Police Explorers for the last Five years. I think that it is a tremendous program and if you are interested in Police work then we are the program for you. Hello everyone who is reading this comment!! Hi I am L V AHH and I am a Denver Police Explorer; I have been on the post for two years and I love it! This is a great program in which you have fun but you also learn about disipline, which is very important in every job. This program is about learning about Law Enforcement. Most of the explorers in the post want to be a police officer but this program is not just for people who want to be police officers, this program is for anyone interested in law enforcement.
