About Komen Denver The Denver Metropolitan Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure was founded in 1994, the year after the first Komen Denver Race for the Cure®, to carry out the mission of our National organization — to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease through advancing research, education, screening and treatment. The Affiliate continually strives to meet this mission through three core activities — education, fundraising and grant making. The Affiliate is well-recognized as a leader in grant making, having awarded more than $17 million to a wide variety of non-profits that provide breast health/breast cancer services to the uninsured and underinsured in our 12-county service area since 1993. The Affiliate is currently funding 35 projects, totally more than $3 million. In addition, we contribute 25 percent of annual net revenue to breast cancer research through our National organization.

Deadra	Mar 5 2008 1:11 PM Hellooo in Denver ~ my hope is that your friends will take a LQQK visit at my page and find information for women as young as 18, to see how important it is to REALLY do their self breast exams. And for guys to do a testicular check for lumps each month! Should a lump be found, follow up with a health care professional, ASAP! Muuuuuuuuah ~ Love, Deadra ~
