Nyke Nitti: That..s something we use around the turf man, Slap you know everything, if it sounds good to me it either Knocks or Slaps, you know? So when you heard that Slap, that trunk rattling type sh-t, that.. sh-t is Slappin. That..s what they say in the turf. ===============
D.F. How you feel the mixtape came out? ===========
Nyke Nitti: Ooh.. like DJ K Tone put his foot in that thing, you know on the mixes and sh-t. But my lil bro Mo Heat on all through that thing on the beats. Most that sh-t is original material, it got 20 songs that are original and like 10 industry tracks. I feel it, I think its one of the hottest things on the streets right now.============
D.F. We agree with you. When can we expect the album? You know Denver..s Finest got calls asking why we had the album coming out this spring. ============
Nyke Nitti: (Laughing) Well you know you got to do what you have to do out there, you got to make sure the people keep seeing you, you can..t stay away to long. So that..s what that was all about, just making sure that people knew I had some new sh-t coming along, and don't forget they boy. So the album will drop at the end of January. ============
D.F. What was 06.. like for you?

didn't do to bad in 06, we dropped a couple of mixtapes. Twizz Loak, Top Notch, Mo Heat, and now my Sh-t, Slap Music to end it off.

What states did you hit this year? ============
Nyke Nitti: We did
it big this year, man we was on that tour, and plus we just went out of town just to be sh-t up. W. Virginia, Virginia, N Carolina, S Carolina, Atlanta, St Louis, Kansas City Mo, The Bay Area, Bar Awards, did it up with the Bay Areas Finest. Also went to the Bill Board Awards this year. One up to my ni..a Young Doe, Elite Mobstas, DJ K Tone, Inner State Ike 1 luv 1 time, R.I.P. to my ni..a CAC. We MOB affiliated. ============
Denver..s Finest heard you all over projects this year, tell us what was your favorite calibration this year?
Nyke Nitti: Favorite, man I don't have a favorite, but if I had to choose one it would be that track I did with Dez on that Joe Thunder mixtape, I produced that track.

D.F. As for the Da City, which artist do you think deserves the Male
Artist of the year? And Why? =============
Nyke Nitti: Male Artist of the Year, umm.. let me see, cause there was a lot that was really going on, the only person that was bangin things out was Julox, Ju did a lot of mixtapes and he did his thing on that album side. If anybody probably Julox. You lucky I didn't do my thing, u lucky I didn't do my thing, I..d be calling for Nyke Nitte on that one. .... And also Young Doe, cause that my ni..a, cause he wrote that book, and the mixtape & album.. So I think Young Doe & Ju. ==============
D.F. What about female artist of the year? ==========
Nyke Nitti: I haven't heard to many female artist man, but this year on the real tip, Midas sister (Rukus) did her thing on that poetry side, and she does her thing on the rap, but it always goes to Rie 2 tha Rie, that..s my girl right there, she puts it down every time. ==========
D.F. what new artist did you notice come out of Da City? =========
Nyke Nitti: The ni..a I saw out there was Young Teez out there grindin, and also this cat Blue Drop. ==========
D.F. What..s the state of Colorado rap game? =========
Nyke Nitti: Its looking bright, like I said 07 looking bright, lot of ni-gas coming with some good music. Lot of nice albums, Trucc had a nice album, Ju..s album was nice, Criminal Organization, man ni-gas slept on that one ( D.F. Denver..s Finest didn't sleep on it), Man Nyke Loc, Ju & Big C. It was straight underground, Nyke Loc on the beats, Mo Heat on the beats. Peeze had a couple of beats ===========

Nyke Nitti: 07 is a real big year man, you..ve been talking to a lot of different people. We actually talking to labels, distribution companies. Man, niggas are trying to fool with ya boy man. It..s looking real bright in 07. Plus a lot of people around me doing the same thing. 07 a big year. Mo Heat Scrop Diesel, Young Doe we all bout to put a production team together. =====
