Hello DenZanuda and thank you for requesting to add to my friend space. Welcome new friend!!! greetings from California!!! You are my first friend from the Ukraine. I’m sorry it has taken me such a long time to get back to you. I have been busy over the past month, I just got back from a trip to Japan and before that I was busy preparing for that trip as well as writing music for my second album. Your music definitely feels like soundtrack music. You have a great sense of arrangement as well as a great diversity of sounds, styles and instrumentation.“Title Theme Of Dwellingplace” I love the isolation in the piano melody, it is both cold and alone in its tone and melodic qualities. Very nice!! Your choice of instrumentation is also very well thought out, lots of complementary instruments and sounds. Although there is a feeling of isolation, or loneliness, there is also the desire to see a brighter side, look for a more positive state of mind. “Dwellingplace ambient01” is the sound of breath and wind behind words that must be uttered, but which are somehow repressed and kept abstract in the mind. The reverb behind the orchestral passages creates a sense of massive space, perhaps in unexplored frontier lands, or maybe even canyons. The low rumble beneath the melodies is somewhat like the sounds of the human body while asleep/ The sound of hunger, the sound of preoccupation with a certain idea or obsession. In this respect, the song takes on a more psychological depth, perhaps a numbness would be more appropriate. (continued below)
(continued from above) “8 Days Opening Theme” is a completely and almost unexpected beginning in comparison to the previous tracks. I like the fact that you are not held within one type of music or feeling, this is very gutsy, but it also describes the different layers and depths of your musical imagination.“Tibetian Autumn” is a nice mixture of styles and sounds. Again, as we heard in the “dwellingplace” pieces, there is the same attention to dynamics among the instruments that allows for a defined presence of each of the sounds. Your sense of arrangement is really quite nice here. I also really like the flute sound, which lends a more eastern sound to this track.“The First Snow” There is also a loneliness in this track, the sense of facing a great change in one’s life because of that change. The electric guitar solo, though very different from the way I play, and from what I typically listen to, reveals a nice degree of technical proficiency on the instrument. I really love the piano melody, very hypnotic, very attractive and subtly moving-really beautiful!!! I have rally enjoyed listening to your music, I’m very pleased that you found me. I would also like to hear any thoughts or impressions you may have about my own music. For now, I hope you are well and I look forward to hearing from you soon. DAVE in California-
Dear Den, thanks for your comment and for taking the time to listen to my music. I always appreciate honest and constructive feedback. I enjoyed to isten to all your music. I must say, I'm impressed - you are a very versatile composer, obviously at home in a lot of styles and genres. I especially enjoyed the two pieces from "Dwellinplace...". Both are very atmospheric and the first one shows that you really know how to structure music intelligently. Great work! Greetings from Bavaria! Patrick
Beautiful atmospheric and emotional music with some deep breath of melancholy, happyness and darkness. Thanks for finding Cup Of Dreams. Greetings from Berlin / Germany.
Very good music. My favorits are "Title them of...", "Dw ellingplace...". In third, " The first Snow". And very good work for "8days..." You show to us you can do everything.
