Sorry this profile is very primitive, at the moment. I have been interested in electronic music since the dawn of my birth it seams, though until now I haven't been able to pursue it until now. When I was at college one of my lectures was a chap called John Jenkins whom was a friend of Bob Moog and he even had a prototype Moog of some description as well as an EMS Synthi I loved the noises that those boxes made.
The first tune I put up called CS-10 on this page was recorded mostly by a Yamaha CS-10 analogue synth, its the first fully VCO analogue keyboard that I have owned, I bought this as I was so impressed with a similar instrument that Dave Ball was using. The strings are from a Rhodes 660 (aka Roland D-20).
Since then I have added some more music, The Light Within Me was inspired while I was having a email chat and was braodcast on Vibraphonic FM last year.
There is a live track up there from our first gig that was in Winchester on the 2nd September 2006, recorded simply with 1 Stereo microphone going into a Sony Pro Cassette Walkman.
Live Department Factory create an organice space sound where drum machines and backing tracks do not exist, all music is played and looped live using acoustic guitars, bass, synths and for the first show Paul Hibbard on Didgeridoo.
