hey folks, im james. thanks for checkin out my page. myspace is dual purpose for me. i keep in touch with all my homies and brag about all the cool shit that i get to do. this last year has been amazing. ive been around the world twice playing shows with chuck p and the gang. now im back in town right where i left off at least until chuck p cranks out a new record and we blast out for another world tour. meanwhile, ill be playing with a bunch of rad local songwriters. i live in a cool little town in the bay called point richmond. we got one bar and a dirty ass beach. me and my ole lady want a dog but the landlord aint havin it. i grew up in a little horse town in southern california called norco. my parents still live there and yes, people still ride horses around everywhere. its a one of a kind place in the world.. the only concert that has ever happened there was toby keith and ricky skaggs, live at ingalls park (the same park where the rodeo happens every year). me and two of my friends hopped the fence and checked it out. i was maybe 12 years old. i hated country music as a kid but now im into it because thats where all the shreddin guitars went when metal went away. now metal is back and its great again. check out some new bands like mastodon and lamb of god. i love being a musician and i feel really lucky to get to do this shit full time. its like gettin paid to hang out and act like a retard with my friends. i try to make my career bigger and better every year. so far so good. so hit me up if you wanna come see a show sometime. best. james

james! how goes it guy? I was at the 8x10 in Baltimore (my new home) the other week and saw that Chuck Prophet was coming to town.....I'm hoping you're rolling in with him. It would be great to see you!
Hey James - heard you and Melissa listened to the new cd on the way home from the Great American the other night...weren't you so impressed with yourself??!!
thanks a lot for the friendly message. I feel honoured to be friends with you. I loved your playing with Chuck Prophet at Berlin's Quasimodo. Those lovely twin guitar solos with Chuck reminded me of the great times of Thin Lizzy. And there was some outrageous slide playing, too ... and what you did on that twin-neck-Danelectro! Here's the review I wrote about the gig for Berlin's daily paper "Der Tagesspiegel":
Hey James! You were a God among men last night! Your chops were awesome as always! I hope it was a great birthday celebration for you. Have a great time in Europe!
Well, you have my attention ! Is Allan Holdsworth filling in for you ? I still hope to get together and write some tunes together (or just jam some fusion ! ) - Mike
DePraved 1!! Look at you and the double neck...haha..love it! I see you are going off to travel abroad. Have a great one! We need to finish this damn cd...haha...hopefully we can get everyone's schedule together..maybe November...I'll hit up Ed and Rosen. Cheers, Mate!
