DEPRAVITY was founded by Christian Dasbach and Dennis Geil in October 1999. After several years of line up changes, constant live-playing, recording theier first record "Bloodbath in Paradise" in 2002, they finally found the "perfect" and line up in 2004....but as always, fate had an other plan!
In 2005 Depravity planned to release another record, but due to a an absolutely fucked-up sound, the album went directly into the archives and hasn..t been shown to the public yet...
In 2006 the band was struck again by severe line-up changes. A new drummer and a new growler had to be found.
In March 2007, Dennis, Christian and Othon (the three remaining pillars of Depravity) started to begin recording "Litanies For The World To Suffer", featuring the incredible machine-like drumming of Markus Strehlau (formerly Gorezone) and their new growler Jan Wiltschut (formerly Mort).
Devoting themselves to extreme music, the sound of DEPRAVITY is a mixture of Death, Black and Thrash-Metal. Especially on stage the band developes an enormous energy, blasting everyone into oblivion!
March 2008 : The new record "Litanies For The World To Suffer" has been finished... finally! Now it is time to find a suitable label to release the album...
